How the MedicAlert Service Works
In the event of a medical emergency, prompt treatment is crucial, and the more medical personnel know about your medical history, the more effectively they can treat you. A MedicAlert ID, engraved with your key medical information, will alert emergency responders to immediately and quickly provide treatment.
Our 24-hour emergency response number, also engraved on the MedicAlert ID, connects first responders to additional vital information about you from your EMIR to help you get the best treatment possible in an emergency.
