Central Valley Author to Discuss Natural Alternatives to Healing and Wellness at MedicAlert
Elodia Tate overcame lupus/SLE through basic health alternatives
TURLOCK, California (July 20, 2004) – Elodia Tate, a Central Valley resident and the co-author of Open My Eyes, Open My Soul, will present a seminar on natural alternatives to health and wellness at MedicAlert Foundation this Thursday. There will be two seminars, one from 1 – 2 p.m. and one from 2:15 – 3:15 p.m. The event is not open to the public, but media are invited to attend.
Tate overcame lupus/SLE in a matter of weeks by taking a natural approach to health through nutrition, herbs, supplements and other forms of healing. She has inspired thousands of people to sample her approach to wellness.
“Our health is our own responsibility,” said Tate. “There are infinite paths to wellness, and I encourage people to take action of their health by making small lifestyle changes.”
Tate has recently come back from her book signing tour with co-author Yolanda King, the eldest daughter Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The book is a compilation of multicultural, diverse stories with contributions from Muhammad Ali, Maya Angelou, Margaret Cho, Robert Kennedy Jr., and Stevie Wonder. .
