We are pleased to announce the the new MedicAlert® Watch manufactured by the Citizen Watch Company. The MedicAlert® Watch is designed to be easily recognized by first responders and emergency medical personnel. The face of the watch features the MedicAlert symbol and the back of the watch is engraved with the member’s medical information, member ID and the MedicAlert® 24-Hour Emergency Hotline number, standard information that appears on all MedicAlert medical identification products.

The watch is made with durable stainless steel featuring a soft expansion wrist band and Eco-Drive Technology. Fueled by light, it never needs a battery, making it unstoppable like the people who wear it. The watch is a great alternative to people who prefer an option to wearing a bracelet or a necklace.

How MedicAlert® Works in an Emergency:

  1. The Emergency Responder checks the member's wrist or neck for MedicAlert medical identification.
  2. The Emergency Responder reads the medical information engraved on the back of the watch.
  3. The Emergency Responder can call the 24-HR Emergency Hotline Number on the back of the watch for immediate access to additional information including: list of current medications, allergies, other medical conditions, personal and physician contacts.

MedicAlert Watch FAQs

Can I purchase the watch as a gift for someone else?
Yes. Existing members will receive the same engraving as the current emblem. However if you are unsure of the engraving, you can purchase a Gift Certificate.

How will my watch be shipped?
The watch will ship via Fed Ex Ground and will require a signature for delivery

How do I adjust the wristband?
Just take it to your local jeweler for any adjustments you may need.

Who do I contact if I have a problem with the watch?
Call our Member Services Department for any help.

Do I have to buy a new watch if my medical condition changes?
No. A new caseback can be engraved with the updated information for a fee of $20, plus S&H. The new caseback should be replaced by your local jeweler.

What is the return policy for the watch?
The watch must be returned in its original packaging in new condition within 30 days. There is a $25 restocking fee.

Is the watch water-resistant?
The watch is water-resistant to a depth of 50 meters (165 feet), and comes with a five year, limited warranty. If you have any questions please call or email us.
