MedicAlert offers free memberships

I read with great interest the Book of Dreams item about Linda and Samantha Henry (Dec. 21, Page B-1). On their wish list was a MedicAlert bracelet.
Since 1956, the mission of MedicAlert has been to protect and save lives by providing identification and information in emergencies. MedicAlert has a free membership program, providing either a stainless steel emblem or necklace to those who are unable to afford the cost of membership.
With the recent catastrophes nationally and around the world, it's easy to forget that we need to help those close to home. I hope more people support the Book of Dreams fund. We are pleased to provide Linda and Samantha with their own MedicAlert emblems. I encourage everyone who knows someone who could use our lifesaving service to consider presenting them with a MedicAlert membership -- a gift that protects you for life.
