MedicAlert’s medical IDs are known world-wide and serve as a global symbol for our charity; but to the men and women working at MedicAlert, it is our customer service that daily displays the heart of our mission - to protect and save lives.
Customer Service is the lifeblood of our organization and this week we’re celebrating Customer Service Week. Each day this week, we are recognizing a decade for which we’ve been in service.
Beginning with the 50's and moving on; we are celebrating our Foundation and our ability to adapt with the times to best serve the needs of our customers. We are also taking the time this week to highlight the important work that staff does each day to protect and save the lives of millions.
MedicAlert Foundation has taken great pride in understanding the needs of our customers; which we believe has helped shape our customer service over the years. This understanding has afforded us the ability to offer many invaluable services that just can’t be found in any other medical ID provider.
One such example of this is our trusted 24/7 LIVE Emergency Response service. As a charity, we train emergency Responders and medical professionals to recognize our medical IDs and to call our 24/7 Emergency Response Center.
By doing this, we are able to grant them immediate access to our customer’s vital health information. This service has been utilized by first responders and health professionals throughout the years, because we perform. Specifically, our staff performs!
Our customer service efforts are important for both the customer we are assisting on the phone, and the EMT who contacts us during an emergency. We continue to be successful because our medically-trained staff who answer the emergency calls; provide excellent customer service to the professionals who are treating our customers during everyday emergencies. We are trusted by consumers, and first responders alike, and we have our staff to thank!
